About Me
Hi! I am Dani.
Based in Bend, Oregon, I am a People Operations leader and consultant working with local and remote companies to attract, develop, and retain teams. I spent my early career in eclectic positions with a common thread: developing people. For over a decade now I have worked in people operations at early and growth stage startups - building the function from scratch at six companies, and working with remote teams for the last nine years.
In 2019, I started my consultancy, Sonder HR, as a way to help clients across all industries achieve goals like reducing turnover, increasing employee happiness, leveling up workforce caliber, and more easily attracting talent. I do this by building highly customized solutions focused on areas like learning and development, performance management, recruitment strategy, culture, compliance, management coaching, and more. I specialize in building infrastructure and processes that support successful remote work.
When not helping companies level up their commitment to people, I can be found climbing, doing acroyoga, at a concert, and generally exploring the beautiful mountains and desert around central Oregon with my dog, Stella.
